Slipping into the filthy waters
Of your greed
Trapped in our everyday life
I walk to collect water, crops
A little living

I have to wash away,
The beast I have within.

It’s leading me to sin.
It’s the environment, it’s the media, and it’s the world outside,
No matter who I try to blame, there is nowhere to hide,

Why did you not listen?

smile brightly, take each step lightly

The sky is open in its majestic view
here I sit near and remember you
the faces I remember are now more than two
upon these graves lies more than a title
there lies life, tales and many a smile
looking around, it is a so very silent

Look above at the night sky and see
The galaxy outstretched, it is the soul’s ocean to be free
We drown in the day
